Anti-vaccine chiropractors 25

The Chiropractic Board of Australia has had enough:

“We will not tolerate registered chiropractors giving misleading or unbalanced advice to patients, or providing advice or care that is not in the patient’s best interests,” chairman Phillip Donato said.

Dr Donato said chiropractors should only provide evidence-based treatment and anyone with concerns should report them. [Sydney Morning Herald August 9 2013]

Christopher Long is a businessman who sees customers at McMillan Chiropractic Centres, a Victorian retail chain. Long is a member of the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia, and is/was a member of the anti-vaccination pressure group, the Australian Vaccination Network.

It is with thanks to Jason Ronan, in the previous post, that Long was included in this series. It is from Long that Ronan received the Dianne Harper Gardasil lie:

Ronan 2 Harper Gardasil lieHere is the lie that flu shots are more dangerous than the flu.

Long 1 flu shot more dangerous than flu

This sort of thing is complaint material. Providing advice in an effort to dissuade a person  from any medical therapy is grounds for disciplinary action. Why do these people think they are immune to codes of conduct?

About reasonable hank

I'm reasonable, mostly.
