That shameless Meryl Dorey and her shameless anti-vaccination group

I would claim that this is purely a coincidence. But, Meryl Dorey, the leader of the anti-vaccination pressure group, the Australian Vaccination Network doesn’t believe in coincidences.

On Thursday August 22 2013, Meryl Dorey’s vexatious year-long campaign against Dan Buzzard came to an end. Dorey has been abusing the Apprehended Violence Order process in a malicious act of intimidation and suppression of free speech. The short version is, Dorey is $11,000 out-of-pocket. She lost, and was ordered to pay costs.

On Saturday August 24 2013, Dorey begs her followers for money, based on a lie.

I just spoke with one of our long-time AVN members. This person has been to a ‘meet the candidate’ get together and got to speak directly with Greens Senator and medical doctor, Richard Di Natale. When questioned about the Greens’ policy on vaccination, Senator Di Natale stated that the Greens’ policy is that vaccination should be compulsory and the only exemption that should be available is the medical exemption – not religious and certainly not conscientious or philosophical. Dr Di Natale said that both major parties are in agreement on this stance and that vaccination will be compulsory after the next election.

Of course it isn’t true. It’s a comment from Dorey, based upon the memory of one of her members. I’m surprised eugenics didn’t get a look-in. And chemtrails.

There is another question which has been raised, however, with regard to Dorey’s latest cash-grab. Dorey and her horrible little cabal are not authorised to fund-raise in any other State, except NSW. Maybe all relevant authorities in all other relevant States and Territories should now be advised of this further attempt at breaching charitable fundraising laws? Just an idea…
