Anti-vaccine chiropractors 18

The Chiropractic Board of Australia has had enough:

“We will not tolerate registered chiropractors giving misleading or unbalanced advice to patients, or providing advice or care that is not in the patient’s best interests,” chairman Phillip Donato said.

Dr Donato said chiropractors should only provide evidence-based treatment and anyone with concerns should report them. [Sydney Morning Herald August 9 2013]

Mr Michael McKibbin conducts his business at Attadale Chiropractic, in Western Australia. McKibbin is a member of the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia. This is proper. Things are as they should be.

McKibbin recently removed a vaccination article from his business’s website due to a pending AHPRA complaint. Luckily, a copy was kept:

McKibbin 2 Hidden in clear sight retracted postI’ll just list some excerpts:

Please Note!!!!  It has recently become illegal for a chiropractor to give advice regarding the safety or efficacy of vaccines.  The following is merely about my personal journey, it is in no way intended to provide the advisability or inadvisability of receiving vaccinations. [there’s the attempted disclaimer – ed]

Reality is hidden in clear sight, all you have to do is recognise, understand, and own the outcome. But what if that reality is unacceptable, can you ignore a reality and return it to being hidden in clear sight?

As far as I know even today, although the data is hidden in clear sight, neither our undergraduate nor our post graduate chiropractic pathology courses teach students about the numerous categories of iatrogenic harm and how the government creates a disappearing trick to create the illusion that there is no iatrogenic epidemic/pandemic.  That information void includes vaccination related harm.

I reflected that decades ago, Ruth and I had assumed that the safety of the cocktail of vaccines that we, our kids and our pets received was evidence based.  Decades later I read that: “Moreover, no study of the safety of the entire US. vaccine schedule has ever been undertaken. That is, the safety of the combination of vaccines is unknown.”

As a health care consumer, and as distinct from being a chiropractor I now understand that what is published is strongly biased toward promoting the illusion that vaccines safely protect patient health interests.

…evidence based medicine fails to truthfully and comprehensively discover and publish the vaccine related iatrogenic toll. Today if I needed to give my genuinely informed consent to what may be a high risk procedure, this absence of the vaccine related iatrogenic toll would mean that half of the equation needed to make that decision, a full and accurate picture of the degree of harm, is missing.

Previously, medicine, the mainstream media and government shared monopoly control over information about vaccine related harm.  Now parents, carers, patients and pet owners can now go ‘on line’ and access a virtual internet information library about vaccine related harm.

In the developed world, business men and women collectively provide tens of billions of dollars worth of vaccination products and services. Their faith based business interests are threatened by authors going to war expressing their total loss of public confidence.   For an excellent example of that, see the web page at reference 1.  http://www.whale.to/vaccines/diseases.html [oh, he went there – ed]

The Australian Vaccination Network is about informed choice including publicising the down side of vaccinations. The AVN gets a lot of opposition as outlined at
http://globalskywatch.com/chemtrails/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5423 [oh, he did it again – ed]

As I read through the symptoms of alleged vaccine related harm outlined on that first web site, I recalled many patients who had those symptoms without suspecting this probable cause. Chronic fatigue, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, failure to thrive, eczema, asthma, recurrent otitis media (middle ear infections), chronic rhiniconjunctivitis (runny nose), the new era diverse behavioral disorders and allergies as well as, susceptibility to infections, incoordination and weakness, hypothyroidism.

The more I have read about this scary subject, the more relevant to chiropractic practise it gets.  What are chiropractors to say when confronted with patients who in effect ask: “Can chiropractic help vacine related harm?”

“SORRY; I CANNOT GIVE AN OPINION ABOUT THAT. THERE IS NO IATROGENIC EPIDEMIC< CHIROPRACTIC IS NOT CONTAINED> AND YOU CAN TRUST AUSTRALIA’S HEALTH CARE ESTABLISHMENT!”

Reactions to vaccine ingredients share very different time frames.  Animal studies show delayed reactions to vaccine ingredients. A reaction may occur days, weeks, months or years after an animal or human is exposed to vaccines.  While the safety of an individual vaccine is considered in the regulatory approval process, studies tend to observe the effects of a vaccine for only a few weeks after the administration of the shot, so long-term effects are unknown.

An interesting aside:  In 1999 the WHO listed the veterinary vaccine adjuvant as having a carcinogensis rating of 4 which is high. That was mostly due to the aluminium hydroxide. “The adjuvant aluminum in vaccines is one culprit in mutating the genome and specifically the P53 oncogene, thereby ruining the individual’s ability to stop tumor genesis.”  Aluminum hydroxide is an adjuvant used in Gardasil vaccines. Gardasil, is an interesting current long term experiment.

Neither my undergraduate nor my post graduate chiropractic education equipped me to tell the difference between a reversible subluxation related disorder from a permanent vaccine related disorder. Remember, I am an observer, certainly not an expert about this dilemma. Stay informed!

Best wishes,

Michael R

McKibbin made the right choice in retracting that conspiratorial, anti-vaccination screed from his professional website. Attempting disclaimers for that sort of stuff just doesn’t cut it.

There is another post McKibbin has decided to leave up on his professional website. This is what he deems to be reputable information:

The History of the Peanut Allergy Epidemic. Quoting page 164: Medical consumers especially parents of the millions of children with autism and anaphylaxis have or are developing a new appreciation of the risks relating to CENSORED.  [I am taking a  stab that “CENSORED” used to say “vaccination”, or similar – ed]

Dr Peter Dingle’s explosive book The Great Cholesterol Deception has this quote on its back cover. People around the world are being lied to and deceived by the pharmaceutical industry. [this Peter Dingle – ed]

Medical systems come in for great criticism in the DVD One Answer to Cancer [this is the Black Salve DVD to which he refers, which has had TGA CRP orders against it on several occasions – ed]

The saying that each society creates its own diseases applies well to the scientology sourced, Making a Killing. [well, at least he was honest about the true source of the CCHR DVD]

McKibbin 1 post scientology black salve DVDs

It is almost as if McKibbin was reading from this post about the anti-vaccination Australian Vaccination Network’s online little shop of horrors.

Time for the CBA to have a word about the long-term viability of McKibbin’s tenure in business.

About reasonable hank

I'm reasonable, mostly.
